We had been working with Kansas Power Pool for several months helping them assess a variety of potential locations for relocation of their corporate offices. We created a program of space needs and evaluated each building based on their desired needs and the available space. Providing recommendation on levels or rework/remodel. With our assistance and recommendations, they moved forward on a purchase of an existing office building. The building they selected needed minor rework, and mainly freshening of finishes and assistance with furniture selections. We strived hard to minimize the amount of rework needed to help maximize the client’s budget. The main areas of worked included a new conference room and a training area. The conference room would become the focal point for the project and the signature space for the Kansas Power Pool. The chevron pattern was the inspiration for the space and the facility as a whole. You will see that represented in the ceiling pattern along with the finishes throughout the space. Updates on flooring and walls were also completed along with lighting upgrade throughout the facility. Furniture that represented the owner and fulfilled their needs at a resonance cost.
